Welcome to Raglan Longboards, also the home of Bear Surfboards NZ.

Raglan Longboards are New Zealand’s finest manufacturers of longboards, hybrids and classic surfboards. All boards are produced on site at our Raglan premises, to the highest possible industry standards, using the finest materials we can get our hands on!

We make a range of proven stock models or custom shape to the needs of our clients, either through direct consultation with us or through our dealer network.

Try before you buy We generally have a range of the stock models available to rent/test drive, as a stepping stone to finding what will work best for you. This is highly recommended and rental rates are waived if you end up ordering a new board. Fin set-ups are a particularly easy option to try from our range of FCS test models in the shop. Payment for stock boards is either by credit card in the store (no phone transactions sorry), direct credit to our bank account (details upon enquiry), or by cheque (allow 7 days to clear).

Delivery door to door by courier, for one board, costs $50-60 (inc packaging and GST) for North Island clients, depending on location. South Island couriers cost a little more. Usually takes a couple of days.

Quality Promise Surfboards are fragile items and no manufacturer can guarantee they won’t ding or snap in the wrong conditions, however our good reputation is central to our existence. We completely stand by the quality of materials and workmanship used in manufacturing all Raglan Longboards, and promise to fairly and promptly address any issues that may arise.

Repairs We offer a full repair service. Priced upon inspection.
